Terms of Service

1. Service

GMTRAVELCR provides private transfers and tourist transportation within Costa Rica. Prices shown on the website are calculated based on the route, distance, vehicle and selected extras, and are expressed in US dollars (USD).

2. Bookings

• A booking is confirmed once the payment (full amount or deposit) is completed successfully and you receive the confirmation email.
• You are responsible for providing accurate information: name, contact details, date, time, pickup location, destination, number of passengers and luggage.
• For airport transfers, we recommend providing your flight number so we can track possible delays.
• Each vehicle has a limited capacity. If the number of passengers or luggage exceeds what was booked, we may be unable to provide the service or may require an additional vehicle at extra cost.

3. Payments

• Payments are securely processed by ONVO Pay.
• Depending on availability, you may pay the full trip amount or a deposit to secure your booking. If you pay a deposit, the remaining balance must be paid as indicated in your confirmation.
• Prices include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

4. Changes and cancellations

• Change or cancellation requests must be made through our official channels as early as possible.
• Changes are subject to availability and may affect the price of the service.
• In case of cancellation, the refundable amount depends on how far in advance it is requested and on costs already incurred; we will inform you before processing it. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
• If GMTRAVELCR cancels the service for reasons attributable to us, the full amount paid will be refunded.

5. Punctuality and waiting time

Our drivers will arrive at the pickup location at the agreed time. Please be ready on time. For airport pickups we will track the flight you provided; extended waiting not related to flight delays may result in additional charges or cancellation of the service without refund.

6. Passenger responsibilities

• Respect the driver and road safety rules, including wearing a seat belt.
• Do not carry illegal substances, weapons or dangerous items.
• Minors must travel with a responsible adult and with the appropriate child restraint when required by law.
• Take care of the vehicle. Damage caused by passengers may be charged.

7. Limitation of liability

GMTRAVELCR is not liable for delays or inability to provide the service due to causes beyond our control, such as weather conditions, road closures, traffic accidents, natural disasters or orders from authorities. We are also not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle, although we will do our best to recover them.

8. User accounts

You may sign in with Google or other available providers. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for any activity carried out with it. We may suspend accounts that make fraudulent or abusive use of the service.

9. Privacy

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Costa Rica.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The current version will be published on this page and will apply to bookings made from its update date onward.
